Learn How to Use THIS Strategy to Manage a Glaring Performance Weakness!

Today's blog will inform you of a second, powerful strategy you can use to manage around one of your weaknesses.

Once again, what's a weakness? It's ANYTHING that gets in the way of excellent performance.

Strategy #2: Design a support system.

Here's an example...

If you're disorganized, make a commitment to clean off your desk on a regular (daily, weekly, monthly) basis.

If you have a short attention span and find it difficult to stay focused, set a timer for a task (say for 5 minutes), then when the timer goes off, get up from your desk and do a set of crunches or push-ups (you'll get the benefit of performing a basic functional exercise), or go make a cup of tea/coffee! Then, refocus your (short) attention on the task at hand.

I use a 1-31 Pendaflex file system where I can throw papers, business cards, and notes to myself, and pull out on a specific day and get to work. Simple.

Note that by setting up a simple support system, you free up your time to focus on and refine a strength. That's powerful.
